8 Days a Week
Worked seamlessly from the Top-Down and almost entirely in the round, the set-in sleeves of the pullover are created simultaneously with the upper bodice in a technique originally described by Barbara Walker (a photo tutorial is included in the pattern). Mini faux-cables accent the cowl neck and hem, and run along the length of the set-in sleeves.
Shaping is accomplished via princess darts to allow for maximum flexibility for customizing the shaping. The garment is intended to be worn with anywhere from -1” to +2” of ease at the bust, so choose a size that is closest to your bust measurement. The pattern also includes a “Some Thoughts About Fit” section for more information on knitting to suit your fit preferences as well a tutorial on horizontal bust darts (in a separate file) for those wishing to add them.
Wear it with a pencil skirt, jeans, whatever–a basic cowl neck looks and feels wonderful any day of the week:)
